Some twenty years ago Bill and Susan Guditus started Powerhouse Industries, Inc. in order to bring a terrific product to the New York metropolitan area.

They had recently moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Long Island where Bill had noticed that none of the local car dealers had a high quality jumpstarter like Bill had seen down south.

Recently unemployed from the hotel business, Bill used the last bit of savings to fly back to Atlanta and buy a JIFFY JUMP jumpstarter to test his idea.

The original JIFFY JUMP jumpstarter is a patented, totally portable, self-contained, industrial quality battery booster capable of starting up to 100 12-volt vehicles without having to be plugged into an AC outlet.

Well, time did fly by and now Powerhouse Industries, Inc. rents, leases, sells and services a wide variety of jumpstarting equipment to over 400 customers.

We custom build 12-volt and/or 24-volt jumpstarting systems for major metropolitan bus lines, waste disposal organizations as well as manufacturers and dealers of heavy earthmoving equipment and the transportation and construction industries. Our equipment comes with or without air pumps and either on wheels or as a fixed-mounted unit.

We also sell a variety of motive power and battery related accessories, and carry the full line of K&K Jump-n-Carry’s and K&K Top Dog battery chargers as well as industrial grade multi-battery charging systems.

Our RENTAL program is available on all our jumpstarting products from three months to three years. All maintenance is provided on a guaranteed twenty-four hour response time and we will either repair or replace the equipment or no rent is paid.
